CFD Simulation of Inlet lift Pump station
Project Summary
- 3D Model of the complete pumping station and its geometry from the inlet lift station up to the pump suction including screen, filtration chamber, wet well.
- Defining the boundary conditions and input parameters including the flowrate of the wastewater along with its density and other parameters.
- Performed transient analysis of the pumping station to understand the flow pattern of the wastewater and analyze the areas of sedimentation inside the wet well.
- Provided suitable Engineering recommendation to overcome the non-conformances noted.
